IV VITAMIN THERAPY

Marble Surface_edited.jpg

Injectable forms of nutrients are a very efficient way to quickly correct nutrient deficiencies and insufficiencies. Studies show that many nutrients, such as magnesium, are not as efficiently absorbed by the body when taken orally.  Nutritional IV therapy allows nutrients to go directly into the bloodstream. Many conditions have been greatly improved by regular IV therapy treatment. In order to overcome some deficiencies or treat severe symptoms, injectable forms of nutrients may be the best initial route to use.

We use IV Therapy protocols that have shown to be safe, have minimal side effects, and show effectiveness based on researched procedures.

Some of the conditions treated with Nutritional IV Therapy:

  • Acute Upper Respiratory Tract Infections

  • Adrenal Fatigue

  • Autoimmune Disorders

  • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

  • Fibromyalgia

  • Hypertension

  • Asthma

  • Cardiovascular Disease

Benefits of IV Vitamin Therapy:

  • customized based on your condition and specific needs

  • do not have to rely on absorption through the intestinal tract

  • corrects nutritional deficiencies

  • instant beneficial effects

You may have heard of a Myer’s Cocktail. Years ago, Dr. John Myers (of Baltimore, Maryland) saw such success by giving IV B vitamins, magnesium, vitamin C, and calcium. Dr. Myers used relatively small doses of all those nutrients. Over the years, we have found it much more successful if the doses are much higher.

To give higher doses, we must use more IV fluid for better dilution. The IV takes about one hour and thirty minutes, but the results are much superior to Dr. Myers’ formula.  Dr. Ahner’s IV formula contains ALL the B complex (i.e.: B1, B2, B5, B6, etc.) and extra B12. We also include ample vitamin C (this can be adjusted to the patient’s needs), magnesium (the most abundant intracellular mineral), and other trace minerals (i.e. zinc, selenium, chromium, and manganese).
